I recently hit a mileage milestone, 73,333. Time on clock was a coincidence.

Just basic maintenance, will spare the details.

2001 X5 4.4i, Milage 278,000 and counting.

Recent work within the last year:

- Water pump, all hoses, and alternator ( preventative maintenance )
- Driver side door handle carrier.
- New radiator.
- Front Driver side CV axle, and oil seal.
- Sway bar link.
- 2 window regulators.
- ABS moduel.

Original engin and Trans. at 15,000 mile oil changes I am only down 1/2 qrt of oil. Runs like a charm. Everything that I replaced where the original parts.

Going strong!

My 2004 3.0 X-5 has 199,785 miles and still going strong! I had to have the injectors cleaned at the dealer and my NAV system has flaked, other than that..I am a very happy owner! I make sure to ALWAYS do the scheduled maintenance and do my oil changes about every 8-10,000 miles. I am using a little oil now, but I still am totally happy with this jewel. I have no intentions of getting anything different, when it needs repairs, I will do them. The car is in pristine shape body wise and interior. When people get into it, they cannot believe it is a 2004 and they are especially shocked when they see the mileage. It is STILL the ultimate driving machine, even with all of these miles on it!!!
