Wow that's great. Did you have the timing chain issue with your 04 4.4?

No. The timing chain and guides appear to be OK. I keep the oil full and change it now every 7000 miles. I might change it sooner as it does consume a bit in that time period. I use Liqui Molly oil.

Only Major repairs were:
Water Pump, when Bearing (rear), final drive boots (front), Valve Cover gaskets at 180k,

All the rest have been normal maintenance. Rotors and pads (front) at 50k, rear pads at 80k, new rotors and pads all around at 130k (crossed drilled and ceramic pads). One alignment at the stealer (I think they made a good alignment into a bad one). Oil pressure sender replaced. Transmission cooler gasket/plate replaced. One thermostat sender. one HID lamp went out and replaced both. On my 5th set of tires.

Next goal is 250,000 miles!

That is very inspiring for us 4.4 owners! I'm glad to hear your timing chain and guides have been ok with all the doom and gloom posted here. I replaced my timing chain tensioner just incase, but sounds like yours has held together fine despite being all original! Awesome
