Technically is supposed to be 2011 model year and it might still be if they release in early 2010.

Don't forget to adjust for your Obama stimulus package . . .:bustingup

Another question is whether the X5 will ever get to the US sales volume
they "need/require"? The halcyon days of 40,000+ units per year are gone, imo.
That, and one needs an X5 Spotter's Guide to casually discern the diff
based on those pics.

We are one of those awaiting an update.... we've already decided to trade ours as we are having tyre wear (front outer edges BALD after 14,000km) air con that cannot be used in the rear without the front sounding like a 747 on take off and with pi@@ all airflow through the front vents, finish on the steering wheel peeling off etc.

I bought a 540 LCI (mid life update) and all the bugs had been ironed out. It's been a wonderful car with not a single issue.... so we have accepted that manufacturers cannot always get it right first time and we will move to the update asap.

My wife is 'over' the fact that we pay $150k for something that cannot cool you down on a hot day.... and day after day of 35 degree heat kind of reinforces it

Cheers

J

PS. A mate of mine asked me about our tyre wear and then reported that his Cayenne had chewed through 3 sets in 40,000km.... guess we all have our gripes....

Your E70 has steering wheel finish peeling? I thought that was an E53 problem only. Can you snap a photo of it and your tires?

BTW, opening the rear vent all the way on the E53 also generates considerable noise I have to say. It isn't until you shut it that everyone in the car notices how loud it was!

Approaching 40,000kms on 21", Dunlops, run flats
Compared to the E53, I`m pumping these harder, 2.9 rear, and 2.4 front and wear seems to be much better/last longer on the E70.

And there are more.....not sure if they are facelift pics as these could be revised M-sport package as the only changes are on bumpers. The current M-sport pack is not that hit as we all know....
