With all the spy pics, BMW looks like it's putting the TT engines in for MY2010 along with the new iDrive/Navigation. Seems it would make sense to do the facelift at the same time since it will require cooling intake areas in the front, etc.

That's my guess as well, so I'm waiting for the 2010 X5... assuming the stock market doesn't fall any more!

This may come sooner than expected.

Crap, not those stupid X6 fog lights 'hovering' inside Cayenne Turbo vents.

I just put the pic posted above side by side with the current look asked my wife where car looks better. She liked the current look. To me, the new look lost the "aggressiveness."

X5 Meister 03-23-2009 12:12 AM

It definitely lost something that's for sure.

not a fan of those vents but I guess it's necessary for cooling the new engines. Undecided about the skid plate... but I guess it's better than nothing down there.

What do you mean by sooner than later, on the new April production or will it show up on the 4th April release of the X5 M!

:iagree: What does sooner mean?!?

X5 Meister 03-23-2009 01:05 AM

Don't F1 engines put out 4 times the power with air vents that are a tenth the size of this thing? Looks more like a fighter yet that will suck you right off the carriers deck.
