my thoughts exactly, i think they r making a new M body kit which looks like the new X5 M, u can tell that it looks like the m sport package by look at the front bumper and the rear bumper

New bumpers, intercoolers... Looks more like testing the X5 for the upcoming new TT engines rather than a facelift...

I wonder if they looked at the new lexus. One smart thing they did was put the rear wiper underneath the top spoiler or cover so it stays hidden. Just think how great that is in the winter and to help stop all that crap collecting from back there.

Agree. You can clearly see the oil cooler right below the license plate. You can easily tell is an oil cooler as it is quite different from the radiator seen through the kidney grills. And Yes, you can also see an intercooler through the opening on the bumper on the driver's side. That pretty much comfirms it's a Turbo powered vehicle.

Makes sense. It's cheaper to produce engines in larger numbers. I wouldn't be surprised if the TT V8 also becomes the standard V8 in the class, just like it did in the new 7 series. Wouldn't be surprised if they did that in the 5 series too.

Too expensive to produce 2 different V8's. Easier and less expensive to just slightly modify the boost and cooling the for high performance versions, than to have a totally different engine all together.
