But really, what car manufactured with plastic in the cooling system lasts any longer than a BMW? I can say the plastic end tanks on a toyota radiator don't last any longer... And it's not heat that kills it, it's the life/longevity of plastics in the system.

I agree...as reliable as my Tacoma was, I heard stories of head gasket problems due to pinging when S/C'ed. At least the Toyota's we're easier and cheaper to work on. I've looked into the all aluminum radiators for my 7, but I've then heard opinions about how those are more for the track than normal streets and that they'll get stress cracks. We're screwed either way

Does not look M enough. I guess it's the wheels and hood. There must be something very new under the twin flat black flaps on the front bumper, as the rest of the car is just tape camo. M5 snowplow, funny.

Best daily driver on earth? I have to say all the new turbo action saddens me....i like a 100k plus car to sound like it. o well still f'n beautiful. And I realize the necessity of going to turbos...just rambling.
