I understand it's just a CGI, but the rear wheel/tire seems way out of proportion. But I'm loving the overall looks so far. Can't wait to see the real thing in a couple of weeks!

Don't see how it's out of proportion...it's supposed to be staggered

Yep, that sounds like our TT V8... even if they keep the power output the same as the X5M/X6M it will be "biblically fast" and pull near a 4 sec 0-60 if not better as long as we can get the power to the ground!

Panemera TT
500 hp @ 6,000 rpm
0-60 mph: 4.0 s
Top Track Speed: 188 mph
Torque: 516 lb.-ft. (568 lb-ft. with optional Sport Chrono Turbo Package)

If the X ///M's can post 4.1 0-60 with 1K+lbs more...then i can't see why the next gen M5 with possible KERS tech won't usurp the ring record from Panamera. Guess we'll just have to wait and see

Check your figures. The X5M has a bloated 2453 lbs more curb weight over the current M5. We can assume the new M5 will be similar in weight to the current M5. That means the new M5 will have spectacular performance.

You guys have to keep in mind that the X5M has an AWD system and the Panamera Turbo also has an AWD system. If BMW stays true to their ///M sedan roots and keeps the M5 as a RWD car, it might face problems getting all its power to the ground. Sure, it can make up for it in the track, but will the new M5 be able to achieve the 3.3 second 0-60 time that C&D got with their Panamera Turbo?
