Fuellog is an Android app for tracking fill ups (can do other things too but I only use it for fuel). I wouldn't recommend it though as it is orphanware. Developer has abandoned it. I use it because I have years of fillups in it and would be a hassle to switch to something else like Fuelly. I will eventually.

Vehicle mileage is usually optimistic by ~0.5mpg. I only have permanent mpg reading on the cluster ATM as I have not installed the iBus USB interface yet on my android head unit. It reads 17.4mpg and has been active for ~ 6 months I think. Hard to remember when the battery terminals were last pulled. I think in January.

Someone got a bath.

So did someone else. Along with a new pair of shoes.

Saw this beauty at the new Ikea. Your better half Snik?

Looking good CW.

I replaced the front flex disc and eliminated the dreadful "tinging" at low speed. Also replaced transfer case fluid. Motor mounts and thrust arm bushings are next.

Did you reset the oil wear adaptations the the VTG module after changing the transfer case oil (unicorn juice)? This makes a difference to how it operates and is an important step in maintaining the transfer case (ATC500).

You need DIS or ISTA (not INPA) to do this - although some third-party scanner tools might do it too (but not BMW Scanner).

Adaptations were indeed reset just to be safe. I need to try ISTA on my new lappy. I had it on my old laptop but that thing needs to be put to rest.(~12 years old) I think my Foxwell can reset as well, I'll have to hook up to confirm.

Can confirm Foxwell can do it. That's how I reset mine after Xfer case fluid change.

Hahah. Yeah it looks like it.
The wife is at IKEA seemingly every damn week.
Its looking good considering it hasn't been touched since my boy detailed it, and it stays outside.

Got the front and rear diff fluid changed out today. Was going to do a DIY on it but there after a search there is an excellent one already up here. Courtesy of cn90 here: https://xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-forums/...se-fluids.html

Here's what my fluid looked like after 120000 miles. Not black, but not golden either. I got out about 2L and put in just over 2L. Maybe 2.2L of LiquiMoly 75w90 synth gear oil. Neither diff appears to be leaking.
