Well.....I mentioned a few pages back my issues.....Just got word the dealership WILL NOT cover any issues. Warranty WILL NOT cover anything. He had my X5 for 3 months and basically did nothing and now says he will fix it for $5600. Guess its time to find a lawyer. Otherwise I think I will put a wrench through his face. Sigh.....

Took some time washing it, mixed a more concentrated soap solution, slowly trying to remove powerlock so i can opticoat it before winter.

1Z gummy, winterizing the seals, conditioning them. WOW, it made them sooo soft.

Put the spare on. Found a leaking valve stem on the left front. When replaceing it, Discount Tire found a chunk of rubber missing from the bead. They stated the tire is no-good to use, could blow anytime. I already have a source for a used pair of Michelin Diamaris. My plan of photoshoot the beast is screwed.

This week is replacement of a gasket..., between the engine and the bell housing. $$$$ Ouch! And the 3rd window regulator. Strange thing about the window regulator, ALL three times it has been the rear passenger door (2005, 2009, 2013). Go figure???

mate is that the door friends/kids get out of and slam with the window half down???

my understanding is that if the glass is not fully closed or fully open DONT slam the door.

people seem to think that as the door is heavy you gotta slam it

pisses me no end

I hear u about the slamming of the door, but I rarely have passengers and the windows are completely up or down. I love driving with all the windows down (actually less breeze on the driver). Plus I try to keep the cable flexible in all the window regulators by opening all the windows most every time I drive.

So why that one??? the mechanic is looking into it, but it just might be karma.
