Like the rims. Wonder where you got the influence....

Lol. Yea. I had a bunch of them laying around, so I tossed some winter tires on and called it a day. Can't wait to get the 20's on. Love the look of a 315 rear tire.

I always liked that 7er and those rims. But I agree. The 20's are sweet. I've got 19's now and I'm counting the days. I had to get the two rears straightened, but they are true now. Plus they have new Contis on them. Should be sweet.

I have been plasti-dipping my summer rims all damn day. Spray, wait, spray wait.
Cleaned the hell out of them first and the progress is going good but i think I'm on about coat 8 so far. Patience.
Tried to change my swar bar links but I need an impact gun to loosen the nuts so will head to my dad's this weekend to hang out and work on the X. Maybe change the spark plugs if they arrive on time

edit: here is the finished product. Just need to wait one more snow fall and then put these on

Ran a big bottle of Techron and about 10 oz of Lucas Upper Cylinder lube through the motor, she is purring like a kitten.

Switched our the batt this afternoon...
Previous batt I R&R'd was in Oct 2007, so it was probably due.

Took <30 mins, including chewing the fat with a couple neighbors who wandered by.

85 fookin degrees F, here n the garage. Africa Hot down here in SW FL.
I hear our Mtn Home calling my name, any day now.

Durlast Platinum, on sale.

worst part of the battery swap/service is cleaning out the spare, etc., then leaning over to lift that sumbich out. Lower back strain/spasms waiting to happen .... like your Blue Ridge Parkway and Cherohala pix, mD.
