Noticed a slow crank while starting the X5 Saturday morning so I check my receipt on the Autozone Duralast battery I installed - June of 2008! So I hurried on down to Autozone for another H8. Only about $20 more than the one it replaced. 91 months of service is the longest I've ever had a battery go in anything. No doubt keeping them away from the engine heat contributes to longer life.

Installed Osram Xenarc Night Breakers Unlimited. Wow what a sensational difference over my 10 year old factory bukbs. Ordered a set of h7 phillips extreme vision bulbs as i thought they were my high beam bulbs. Oops. So i just ordered h1 phillips extreme vision+130 for high beams and h3 osram nbu for fogs.
Also wet sanded my lenses to remove some verrry minor scratches only to make no real diffrrence after all said and done. Also ordered another front corner pdc sensor.

Headlights, Car Lights, Headlight Bulb, Car Bulbs, Car Light Bulbs | PowerBulbs

OSRAM Xenarc Night Breaker Unlimited D2S (Twin) | PowerBulbs

they always have sales on (like now, hence why I ordered Fog and Hi Beam bulbs). Jan20 is the code to use, but it says so right at top of their website anyhow.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
^x3 - The coupon codes at Powerbulbs make the Nightbreakers about $25 more than standard Osram/Philips bulbs - amazing price that no one else can touch

Same here, just pulled the trigger

I have been thinking things have been getting a bit dim/color shift and since they are probably original at 14yrs old now might as well pull the trigger

^That was my exact thinking as well... I don't know the age of the bulbs in ours and they don't seem as "bright" as they could/should be. So might as well replace them so I have a known starting point for the bulbs...
