I dont have NAV though...

Is there a way to switch it so it shows on the radio instead of below the speedometer?

Yes, this would be DISC6/TRACK4.

Hey Tom,
I just installed my Dice Silverline and it works great! I only have one slight problem, when the volume is low i hear this noise, it sounds like the noise you hear when a cd is loading. I guess u can call it noise interference. But i routed the wires exactly as shown on the videos posted on the bsw website. When the volume is turned up loud, you dont hear the noise really, only when its low. I dont know what to do to get rid of the noise, when the volume is on mute, there is no noise at all. I have NAV, NO DSP and specdock

The DICE could be picking up interference from other devices in the vehicle. You can try relocating the wire to see if the noise is diminished or if you cannot find the source of the noise - a ground loop isolator must be used.

Here is a link to the version we offer on the website:

12 Amp Power Noise Filter
eas - 714.369.8524 | 12 Amp Power Noise Filter

Unfortunately, some BMWs are more sensitive to engine noise than others

Thanks for the fast reply. I have RCA cables for my sub amp next to the cable, that might be causing the interference. I'll just buy that Noise Filter, hopefully that will solve the problem

Tom,
For some reason, I lost control via the Ipod. The wheel is locked, how can I enable it again?

Does anyone else experience the ipod reverting to the first playlist after restarting the car?
I find if I leave my car for a few hours, when I return the same track is still ready to play but when I select the (2 on the radio) for playlists it reverts back to the first playlist, not where I am currently.
Is this the norm, cause I find it really frustrating as I have over 100 playlists saved.
