Essam...have read this whole thread at least 10 times. GREAT! Before I start cutting, your recommendation for the squared off box is 27cm and 11cm? will send pics of course.

sleepless, I am glad you liked it ... I did the same mistake that u did ... the first time I turned on the system I forgot to connect the amp back! but I immediately found out...

I might be in the US sometime during the year ... we can arrange something for sure ... I will be in Austin, Texas ... don't know how far is that from you guys.

Stick to the dimensions on the first page BUT make the depth 11cm at the closer end (behind the tail light) and 13cm at the far end. You should get the back angled.

I never thought I would say this, but the Alpine & 10" Pioneer Combo puts too much bass....... maybe I'm use to the factory sub....... I am definitely enjoying the X5 ....... now I'm thinking about replacing the tweeters..... Essam I think you need to start a new thread ..... this one has too many hits.... holy cow..... over 8K views & counting ..... Essam !!!!!!!

(Just kidding) :-), because I know exactly what you mean when going from the OEM sound system to hearing Essam's box for the first time.....it Rocks!!

I got it from W-mart.... it comes in 6 x 10 ? sheets and is self stick on the back, it only cost $.88 a pcs...... but I think it looks better then paint..... How is UR grill mesh covering ? have you finished it yet?......

This is what I have for now...I like it, the sub is protected and I only see it when I open the trunk to take my dog to the park...
Maybe later I will consider the "stealth" option Still need to get some carpet covering for my sub from WllMart - thanks Sleepless
