most of the amps are using the same plug for speaker level input ... i guess u can easily find one

It appears that the socket is the same size as a square 4-pin power plug for computers. That might work too..

I'm new here i'm pretty happy with the design of this box. I like to thank you all for the information that you share but i have a little question.

Is the box holded in place by other mechanism then simply gravity and a little bracket on the top? I want to install this in my car, but because of the bumpy roads and the stiff suspension i'm affraid that the box will not stay fix.

hello baracuda ... welcome to the site

the box will fit very tightly in place so dont worry about bumpy roads ... and u can always fill the spaces around it by foam or anything if u feel it is shaking, but it will not. I have it for almost 4 months now and never looked back.

Thanks a lot forthe support. asume that in a matter of weeks i wil start the work on this small project. I like your design because is more simple to make in comparison with the other more complex designs.
The only problem is that for the moment i find it very hard to get a subwoofer like yours(here it cannot be found) and i think i will go with the something similar from pioneer or alpine(do you have any recomandation?).

.....Hey Essam! I think you sent me the wrong message(?)

Anyway,you may want to mention to Ekvals that, (while looking from the front), the overall shape of the 4-pin molex plug is square but looking from the back - the end that actually plugs into the amp - 2 of the corners (looking diagonally) are square shaped while the shape of the other 2 corners (looking diagonally) are rounded!

The box I made is still rocking steady!
