Here's the sub-steps for step 6 and 7:

1. Open navtweak.exe
2. Open the navboot file
3. go to the Lng_Hollands file (module #119)
4. Right click -> save
5. Open Lng_Hollands in UltraEdit
6. Replace "Lng_Hollands" (pos 59h) with "Lng_German." (with . = "00")
7. Save the file
8. Open CRC24.exe
9. Open the Lng_Hollands file
10. Click on GO
11. Write down the crc value
12. Open the Lng_Hollands file
13. Go to the last three bytes (Pos 39A1h)
14. Type the crc value from step 11
15. Save the file, open it again with crc24 and check (it should say OK)
16. Relace the Lng file in NAVBOOT using navtweak.exe
17. Save the navboot file - copy it to the ISO - save the ISO - burn the ISO

Here's the recoded navboot and Lng_Hollands file with German AND English (incl. BMW logo) changed into Dutch (untested):

Good luck!

Nika.

Dear Nika

I have downloaded the 2 files. Have opened the downloaded navboot with
NavTweak and replaced the Lng_English file with the downloaded Lng_Hollands file. No problem so far.
Saved the Navboot and replaced the original navboot of 27.1 with this new one. Burned with UltraIso.
No problem.
Downgraded my BMW software with V26 and upgraded again with the new
"Dutch" V27.1
No problem

I now find all menu's are in Dutch on the LCD screen (except off course the dash, still in English)
However the voice of my lady-friend is still english.................

Where did I go wrong? I would like the girl to speak Dutch.

I appreciate all the work you and others are doing
