Hi Satjoh,

I am not sure where the dash translation is located (my dash does not have any language in it).

I guess what you'd like is the following:

1. Replace German voice with Dutch voice
2. Replace German text with Dutch text

This will keep the English system, but the Dash would be in German I guess...

Other thing you could do is:

1. Replace English voice with Dutch voice
2. Replace English text with Dutch text

That would change English in Dutch, the dash would be in English, and you'd still have the option to switch to German...

The big question to all the smart people that invented the recoding of navboot and the ISO (I only copied all posts and have no clue what I am doing) is where the translation of the dash, tv and traffic info is located...

Regards,

Nika.

Oh, and btw - the second part (replace English voice + text with Dutch) should be done as follows:

Either use the original ISO, replace the navboot file you created (English text replaced with Dutch), rename the nl4f.tsf (Dutch voice) into nl4f.tsf2, rename e4f.tsf into nl4f.tsf and rename nl4f.tsf2 into e4f.tsf (in /V_2/language/0105 and /V_2/Voices/0506 folders), replace the image with the one you like, burn the ISO and listen to the Dutch voice, with Dutch texts in the German mode and boot your favorite image

Or use my ISO, replace the navboot file you created (English text replaced with Dutch), rename the d4f.tsf (Dutch voice in German file) into d4f.tsf2, rename e4f.tsf into d4f.tsf and rename d4f.tsf2 into e4f.tsf (in /V_2/language/0105 and /V_2/Voices/0506 folders), replace the image with the one you like, burn the ISO and listen to the Dutch voice, with Dutch texts in both the English and the German modes and boot your favorite image

Regards,

Nika.

Nika,

Thanks for your reply and advice. Suddenly things are getting clearer

I think I will modify the English version to Dutch. This way my dash remains English (for me it is better to look at "TIME" than "UHR", silly maybe)

Kind regards and many thanks
Satjoh

I did that this afternoon, Satjoh.

I've got the ENG2NL with Dutch voice now, I can put it online if you want, but I do have a Land Rover logo in stead of a BMW logo, because I've got an MK4 mounted in a Range Rover

RRD

Would appreciate if you put it on-line.
No problem changing the boot picture in BMW
Thanks

Satjoh

The Iso is too big for Megaupload, pm me your mailadres and I'll send it to you.

Try zipping it first before uploading.
My mailbox will surely not be able to handle such a large file, it will explode

Zipping makes it less then 150 MB (250MB is max voor megaupload).

Nika.
