Personally, I don't think a block of black X3/X5 as an icon will look as good as the transparant circle - however here's the main icon you'll need based on my black X3. Take pictures whilst car is under blue sky standing on step-ladders to get angle right, then use tool like iconworkshop from Axilas to import, reduce, touch-up and set background to transparent. You only need do 12 pictures at varying angles, then copy (flip) left to right to create full set of 24.

Hi Guys,

I would like to share with you a new version for the main icon.
I call it angle wing - it will grant you a perfect view on all things in front of you.

I already tested / joined it the last thousand km.
The shown 3 icons are suficient to cover all possible cases, if you are using mode perspective not pointing north.

Just use navtweak to exchange the original icons and join.

Kind regards,

Matthias

Hi Guys!

Big thanks to everyone on here with all this BMW nav stuff!
Got a mini myself, and I have updated the software hopefully will have Chris-H's speed cam dvd working later aswell.

I'm now having a go at this navtweak to try and change the driving icon, I've made a little mini (), and changed it for the orignal icon but when I save the new file the output is a 11.5mb file instead of something similar to the one before at 295.4mb mdf file..

Do I need some software to convert it because Alcohol 120% wont pick up the 11.5mb new file...?

gonna try this one on the normal view with map in travel direction, then I'll try taking a pic at a different angle for the perspective view. Is that the new sky that you have put on yours, I added it on navtweak but the file size was a lot bigger so didnt know if it could handle it.

Hi M1TCH,

I too have a MINI and would love to replace the vehicle icon in my own system with the one you're using. Thus, would you be willing to provide a bit more details on how you went about doing this using NavTweak? Also, did you create MINI vehicle icons for all of the different cusor positions/rotations? If so, would you care to share them with everyone (as that would save me the time of having to do it when someone else already took the initiative)?

Thanks!

-- MIKE
