You're welcome mate.

I have v31 already on my 2005 UK X5, will your image of update CD work for me?
Yes, but you must use the right one.

Quote:
the reason i am asking mate is I have tried before updating from V31 to V32 and the mk4 told me that I am up to date already and could not proceed with the update.

I guess going from v31 to your custom V31 will have the same results, right?

or wrong?
Wrong, my modded version does not use the OEM bmw standard version numbers, it is v31/v32 but will upgrade onto a mk3 or a mk4 even if both are 3-1/63 or 4-1/00.

many thanks
No problem.

Make sure you get the right one mate.

after i spent about 2 hours making all mods i found out the the drive was dying. So i lost all work. It took me about a month to find a few hours to try this project again.
I also found you post on UK forums - Adding audio alerts to your BMW MK4 nav system. - The M3cutters - UK BMW M3 Group Forum.

I'm in US and i took a liberty to modify the us_m file instead. I haven't tried my mod in the car, but i did notice the words' codes are different from UK version.

Does anyone has a wav for "speed cam" ? I would like to construct the phrase " Attention speed cam ahead"', but don't have a voice recording on this pc.
thank you. Will post once i know the results of my mod.
alsmost forgot i also downloaded the 2010 BMW navi Disc 1 with Cams.iso (torrent file0. hope that they will match.

Indeed, they are, but if you don't have the alert on/off option then it won't matter.

I made the one in this, from an on-line text to voice site.

Please do, the more options for download we have the better.

You convert the 1st language setting to on (so it has the alert voice or tag) and you convert the 2nd to off (so you load eng (UK) as the 2nd language)

I can let you have it tomorrow or just make one yourself.

I don't know mate, I'm just guessing, try running poison on the DB and see.
