Hey, very cool. Congrats to her.

I'm never fortunate enough to win anything, from anywhere... I fall into the category that if I didn't have bad luck, I'd have none at all category.

"but said she would have liked something a bit softer and thinner in the hand)"

^ That had me thinking she's doing it wrong. ;) And that you were doing it right. :D

Joseph LOL - you crack me up - I can tell you are getting back into the groove after the baby :)

Yeah we never win anything either so it was an awesome surprise, actually the guy from Kentucky Gun Co. emailed her a second time since she deleted the first one thinking it was spam - she was like "some guy from a gun place told me I won something" and I said "OMG its not spam email him back!" lol -

Speaking of great deals I thought I'd pass this along, as I know single stacks are the rage nowadays, the price that Kygunco sells for is good enough, and now a $75 mail-in rebate on all Shield models, wow - starts April 1 and runs to June 30, not going to lie at that price I am going to pick up a 45 Shield just because. Even with transfer fee and NICS I'd be at $300 out the door, that's a rear tire for our beloved E53's :)

Some good news here in TX.

Texas State Senate passed the NRA backed bill that dropped the License to Carry (LTC) fees from the highest in the Nation ($140), to among the lowest ($40).

The Committee broke floor session before hearing testimony on HB 375 or HB 1911, the Constitutional and Permitless Carry Bills.

Ricky Bobby 03-30-2017 02:24 PM

It's a start! NC wouldn't take up the Constitutional Carry bill (yet) but I am hoping in a couple years they will - lots of support for it, and they just went open carry a couple years back too. If you couldn't tell, I'm in the process of moving there. My house went on the market yesterday.

Thanks Jason. I hit up the local ranges all the time so I figured why not get it while I can. I think i'll have reciprocity in UT as well (not that i'll ever use it there)

NRA is literally 30 mins from me, but I tend to go to one a little further away. NRA range is small and gets crowded fast
