Please are there any solutions?

There's something else going on with the system. Have you or a technician performed a battery draw test to find out what is causing the issue?

I got the Silverline Pro installed today, since I already had a Silverline in there it was an easy job just to pull out the Dice box and the cable from the box to the Iphone/Ipod.
I noticed the cable from the Dice unit to the CD changer plug had different colour coded wires to my current one but all seems to work ok so I assume it doesn't make any difference?

This is normal - the DICE colors are a bit different , but connectors are keyed.

This is normal as well, even the BMW kits display this because of the lack of an authentication chip. You can either press "no" or the message will go away on its own after +7 seconds.

Hi, does anyone know where I can get my hands on the cable that runs from the factory amp coaxial to the Dice adapter? See picture below! If even I can just get the connector piece, I can solder it up to the other side of the cable I already have.

Thanks!

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum. I just installed the DICE module on my 03 X5 w/ Nav and DSP. Here are my two problems:
1-Every other time I start the car, the car does not "recognize" the i-pod and I only get a constant buzz/hiss sound from the stereo. If I turn the ignition off and turn the car back on, everything works fine.
2-Everytime I start the car, I have to go to CD6 track 6 and then back to CD1 to see the text message. I assumed once you set it, then you don't have to repeat the process daily.

Any help is greatly appreciated. By the way, I have had four different X5s and now is the first time I am posting on this forum. Shame on me. LOL

Tom, installed my Dice, it worked for a week. I shut my car down for an hour or so, Dice was working, turned car back on, and since then Dice doesn't work. The radio display simply says "ATTACHED", I found today that even when the Ipod is not attached, it still says "ATTACHED" what do you thinK?

Try disconnecting and rebooting the iPod.

Are you leaving the iPod connected to the DICE overnight in the vehicle?

Not every night. It does not seem to make a difference for either problem if I leave it connected or disconeected at night. Any ideas?
