Because of the how long the inflation equation takes to reach the general public it takes a considerable amount of time to ease. it is never a quick fix. Interest rates should have been left @ 5% back in 2008... but everyone makes so much money with low interest borrowing it made it look like GDP was climbing like crazy, even though everyone was just pushing paper around and not actually making or selling anything. This country has a deep problem and it's that we align ourselves with these blue/red crooks claiming to have our best interest at heart. It's worrying, and without another fluke like an FDR, this country may have peaked. I wouldn't give a shit except that my kids are going to have to live with what these assholes in Washington are getting away with.

There are certainly influences from the past that can influence how we address inflation. However, our current level of inflation stemmed primarily from the difficulty of dealing with the pandemic and the resulting impact on supply and demand.

Yes, Biden is the legally elected President and the election was not stolen from Trump----he lost fair and square. I am definitely not a supporter of Trump.

It is not how we feel but facts that should determine our position on whether the election was stolen or not from Trump.

I think it is important to keep Trump's name alive. He is not done causing what could easily be irreparable harm to our country.

Yes, it is my opinion about the extent of damage Trump has done to our country but feelings are dialed out. I look at both sides of an issue. Tested facts remain. It is still an opinion but not based on any feelings one way or the other. Feelings are not right or wrong, they are just feelings and don't belong in the context of this discussion.
