ARD thinks this study from (2005) is "fake" and part of the studies done about HCQ during the pandemic, even though it was done by the CDC and their Canadian counterparts.

Yeah let's try something that ARD might understand... like righty tighty, lefty loosey.

I'm sure he's not a scientist but he should understand basic scientific findings.

I am also sure that the last time he had a piece of ass, was when his fingers broke through the toilet paper.

EOD...there will be people out there that simply cannot (refuse to) rationalize. The problem is that they yield to their emotions over facts.

When presented with these scenarios, they'll opt to close their fist and hold it over their head while chanting some slogan.

True, but both sides are equally guilty of that. Lots of sign holding and chanting going on during the trucker rally, anti-mask protests, anti-vax, abortion protesters (on both sides), etc. Let's not limit that behavior to the lefties.

The real solution, almost always, lies somewhere in the middle. Unfortunately we swing from one extreme to the other as the political winds take us so we never get to a homeostasis where both sides agree to disagree while still enjoying getting a portion of what they wanted/believe in. People are greedy, what can you say, it's base human nature/instinct.

Being aware of "no man is an island" as true, I would still love a piece of land 20-50 miles outside of town so as to not have to bow to city authorities or deal with the mouth-breathers (again, on both sides) so often. But, with land prices being what they are, and still needing a school system for the kids, we are here in town for the foreseeable future. Homeschooling was doable with one kid, but not with both of them now.

Yeah! That's true. Good point--for both sides!
But there is a stark difference when the MSM will say idiotic things like "fiery, but mostly peaceful" during certain lead protests. The trucker-rally was not violent nor did anyone burn anything down (that I'm aware of).

Your last comment of living outside of town. I 100% agree with that. But where I'm at, it's totally frustrating how one county gets to dictate ALL of the state's policy. It's BS and completely non-representative. Going that 20 to 50 miles outside of town is completely different. Yet I'm forced to abide by policy that is not even applicable regardless of the vote because it doesn't have the density. It's ridiculous.

You're totally missing the point.

If you read the responses to your position you will see that there is no challenge of the study. The point is that the study is not applicable. It is about an entirely different topic that can't be extrapolated to COVID 19. Concluding it is meaningful is a flawed assumption. That is what has been debunked.

Are you capable of posting something where you don't insult someone or be just plain gross?

Didn't realize that ARD was your sock puppet account.

I can post things and be civil, but not to people who move goalposts or refuse to do any research since it might go against their preconceived notions.

Civility as a positive character trait is not selective. It is not something withheld from those that disagree with another. Civility is the quality of being polite. Civility is a set of skills, values, and character traits that include consideration for others, fairness, kindness, and manners as we engage with others in everyday life.

Being civil with someone who posted in the thread about high gas prices that his reply would be listed under the previous President' thread (where you spent years pissing and moaning) and has nothing to do with either thread then made excuses for Sir Sniffs-a-lot....??

Hope this helps you......

A personal vendetta impairs reasoning and civil communication. It is not healthy to go to war with someone just because they disagree.

I don't have a vendetta against you I just don't suffer people who move goalposts instead of considering that they are wrong and trust me if I did have a vendetta and we went to "war" I'm pretty sure you would realize our definitions are completely different....

No goalposts have been moved. I always consider other opinions and will acknowledge anything posted that is true.
