Identify more of the people involved in the insurrection and charge them with sedition, unlawful entry, damage to government properties, but make every effort to identify anyone that was tossing a fire-extinguisher at the police and charge them with murder or attempted murder. Make an announcement that if they broke into the Capitol, but turn themselves in they will consider a lenient charge against them, but if they are hunted down the charges will be harsher and less chance to negotiate a plea bargain.
