Thanks LVR... I tried the mute button and assigned to to the Star button..it mutes audio (which is already muted when using the phone !) but not the Mic ?

Have just got back from 5 weeks in the states was worried after discussion on orders. Ordered an x5 on 23rd of july dealer said would arrive Oct 5 Just spoke to him arrived at dock on Oct 7 should have it in 2 weeks can't wait.

yeah I have

put deposit down september 20, but order has only just gone in to stock controller this week. looking like a january build now but won't know for sure for a couple of weeks yet

I was told by Dealer NO November / December build allocation for Oz...so auto tailgate should not be a problem..

both brisbane bmw and motorline bmw have 2-3 each for both november and december - my order is with brisbane bmw but I was actually in at motorline today looking at the style 219 rims and the chap there offered me a january delivery that was cancelled on them - even took me into the office where all their orders cards sit in little pockets across the wall to tell me what options it came with

A couple of questions

Does anyone know if the 27.1 software update is avail in Aust yet ?

Secondly I have a problem with my TV where sometimes I get no screen (with the no picture unless stationary message) when i stop and only get a pic when i either put in park or apply the park brake. Othertimes I get a picture simply by comming to a full stop (with no need to apply park or park brake) which should be the norm (or at least that was the way it was with my previous BM). Anyone else have this experience or what happens with your TV when you stop

I'm booked in Monday.... Hopefully will get 27.x as my issues are all software related.. as far as TV haven't had that problem.. but I wish I could get the TV to Full screen !!!

Had the new X5 diesel a week wrapped.
Space grey, Black upholstery, bamboo dark trim, sun roof, self levelling suspension, comfort access, running boards, Alarms, Anti dazzle fold mirrors, bi-xenon lights, head light washers, adapative head lights, high beam assist, navigation system, rear camera, phone, hayman reece towbar, mud flaps, floor mats, luggage space mat. external towing mirrors, timted windows and paint protection. The only thing not sure about is alarm system as it does not go off when you press the rear access button for more than 3 secs. red light blinks below rear vision mirror is that the alarm system??
