I just ordered a set, this will be such an improvement, I can't wait :)

Can anyone tell me what size these springs are?

I wouldn't mind going to see if I can find something similar at my local hardware store. I'm reluctant to pay over $40 AUD for two, $1 springs.

Fwiw Uro parts are straight garbage. They probably would have cracked on their own anyway.

525, interesting to hear. I bet a rubber washer that is sliiiiightly smaller ID hole size than the OD of the Polished Rod will stop the springs from moving after hatch opens up.

Can you post a picture of yours on the car - I want to see something.

525, I'll grab one in a few hours here sure.
a pic with the hatch in any special position? A video of it opening perhaps?

ok Spongerich and Realoem bring me to a question I never thought of before... which way do you guys have hte gas shocks installed? so the fat tube (where the polished rod slides into) is attached to the body OR to the hatch?
I have the fat end attached to the body of my vehicle and therefore the polished rod end (which you unscrew to install these blue springs) is attached to my hatch.

The fat part goes to the body. The thinner rod goes to the hatch.

Thanks BC. I thought that was the way but looking quickly at realoem.com it leads the viewer to think that the fatend of strut would attach to hatch.
