Inlacal, How can I find out if one of the 79 cars is mine. Mine has been done since April 14th awaiting the seat module. My dealer emailed his contact and has not heard back. When calling the 800# it says that my car is completed awaiting transport to the carrier. Does that mean it is still in south carolina, or already in oxnard? If it is in oxnard that would be awesome, meaning once done, it would only take 1-2 days to get to my dealer in LA. Can you find out for me, I will give you my production order #?

Have you burned your bridges with your CA or do you feel he/she is giving you the run-around? He should have instant access via dealernet and be able to tell you where your car is.

No I have not burned my bridges, he just states it is delayed due to the seat module. He emailed me yesterday stating he sent an email to his contact at BMW and has not heard back yet, and will let me know.

It will be a relief to get rid of my current BMW by then. |
I just called Bill M. at the CARB. He told me that they are working on the X5 diesel cert. right now, however, he would not give me a timeline. He mentioned he sits next to the guy that certifies all the BMW's.
All CARB contacts are in this site: about half way down the page. On-Road New Vehicle & Engine Certification Program |
Hope it'll be done by Thursday this week, my x5d is due to be completed on Friday.
