Interesting. I ordered my X6 on 4/12. It started production on 4/19 and was completed on 4/27. I have Performance Center Delivery (including hitch installation) confirmed for 5/19.

that is interesting... I'll be watching it to see how things progress and post my findings...

I had a question; what is this performance center delivery? I had the option to do it but just choose for them to deliever it.

WTF?!?! Really? Already? My 2011 is at my local Vehicle Processing Center

It arrived at my local VPC (Oxnard, California) almost eight days AHEAD of schedule.

Since they prioritize 'sold' cars first, I should have it in the next 48 hours, or so.

JUST GOT A MESSAGE FROM THE DEALER....

That was pretty uncanny/almost spooky...Within 30 seconds (literally) of me sending this post (below), my rep at the dealer emailed me to tell me that it will be at my dealership (at the latest) on Monday....My dealership is (VERY) close to the Oxnard VPC...About 45 minutes away....

Does this mean the X5 diesel have EPA / CARB approval?

I do not believe they have it yet. I believe BMW is holding cars at the VPC. I assume since he is on the west coast, they are holding it there.

inlacal, My car has been completed since April 14th. It is awaiting the seat module campaign. It is a 50i. I dont understand how your car is in Oxnard today when it was built after mine. It makes no sense. Very frustrating for me, as I have been waiting so long. I was told my car would be completed and shipped 2 weeks ago, then told April 26, now told May 3, but to not count on it. Unbelievable!
