7555019 being built

ETA for delivery is four weeks (or less)...

I was supposed to start production of my 35i the beginning of this week (March 29). However, dealership told me a 3-4 week production delay due to delays in the Sports Activity Package wheels. Disappointing!

Anyone have an xdrive50 in production?

my CA is telling me that he has a car in the queue that he can change around for me but I have to order certain options that I was not planing on ordering (options can be added but not remove at this point) - is this a BS up-sale or is there some truth to this? He said that if I change the one in prod I can have it end of may, If I order it "fresh" I might get it first 1/2 of June....

thanks

sounds like BS. The order is open until BMW NA closes it as it preps for production. When it is open you can change anything (as long as engine size is same - slot per model/engine combo).

I am aware of the military program.

Yup you were right, I got it backwards because I had also asked hime about the 5 series.

According to the 800 number, my X5 35d has moved completion dates from 4/9 to 4/12 (Fri to the following Monday).

I checked my 4/9 build for my X5 35i -

3/25 - 150 status (production started)
4/6 - 151 (entered body shop)

Projected completion date: 4/8 (one day earlier).

Amazing that it took so long for 150 and it's going to hit the following in just 3 days:

150 Production Started
151 Body Shop Started
152 Paint Shop Started
153 Assembly Started
155 Production Completed

PasPar2 04-06-2010 02:33 PM

how long does it take to get to your local dealer? how long after for dealer prep before you can pick it up?
