Awesome Prop - Joseph or Jay who have done DSP installs, since there are midranges on the rear doors would the Memphis Audio ones Prop did also function in that area?
I know Prop put tweeters in the rear doors and no worries with that at all, just didn't know if there was an actual midrange solution for them

Edit: Looks like a 2.75 inch midrange driver so the one that prop suggested should be good for the application. |

Yes the tabs would have to be trimmed to fit but looks like it will make a nice upgrade in sound.

OK, stereo people... This just happened today- looking for advice:
On start this AM it was cold- REALLY cold. I mention this 'cause it's the only thing I know is different from the last few days that I've had the sub. I have ZERO idea if it means anything. I was greated with a rattling, thumping mess of bass coming from the new sub. It sounded like @ss. I knew *I* hadn't been screwing with it the night before. I had time to move the bass settings in the Tone menu. I messed with DSP 80 and 200hz (lowered). Eventually (like a few mins)- through no obvious input of my own, it settled into the lightly added depth I have been enjoying. I parked, ate and returned. Same thing. I screwed with no settings, deciding to see what might happen if I just waited. Sure enough, a couple seconds later, it settled into my new normal. It sort of 'feels' like the either the DSP amp or the new amp sent with the sub are sort of 'waking up' a bit slower than the stereo itself. I do notice that changing either tone settings or DSP settings take a second to 'catch up.' Any thoughts?

Soooooo - I think we are on to something here boys - 2 sets of midbasses from JL, 2 sets of Midranges from Memphis, and a set of Tweeters from JL makes for the "poor man's BSW" of 2017
![]() I'm just trying to get my Midbasses from JL right - Prop used a 6.5" JL Audio, Jay you used a 6" one?

OK great Jay - If you could send me link to the direct fit 6" ones that would be great (and if they come also in a nice pack with the tweeters I would need that would be great as well) - and I'll source the Memphis Audio midranges or look into other 2.75" midranges for the rear doors and dash
