I was messing with the INPA software I had just installed and somehow cleared the firmware on my MK 4 Nav. Downloaded V32 firmware and tried multiple times to load the firmware. Finally pulled the 4 out and put the original nav back in. Works fine. I'll figure out what is going on later.

Unpinned the old TB connector from the harness and put on a new one. Old locking tab was broken.

New LED tail lights
Installed my new smoked LED tail lights.. soo nice. washed waxed and went to dinner.. Came home it was dark, next morning I walked past X and holy crap.... someone keyed the LH side of my truck. fender,driver door and pass door . Im soooo pissed. Who ? why ? man this is high school crap. Contacting insurance company today...

nope dont live in the hood.. a small to med town in Calif.. and been married for 24 years . IDK maybe mistaken idenity not sure. Ill bet it cost 2K to repair it. Makes me sick. and VERY ANGERY... what kinda person does that ?

Attached my front plate. Texas just passed a $200 fine for no front plate. I figure they will see that as an easy revenue generator for the first few months.

It has been in a duffel bag with some other emergency stuff that I carry with me.

I carried it 11 years in case I got stopped so I could show that I was about to install it.

So sad that Texas needs to resort to a revenue generator like enforcing front plate laws. It costs more 2 manufacture a set of 2 plates for the state anyway!

And last time I checked no cop pulls you over by coming at you head on, I still don't understand why they are necessary...

Tonight I fixed a problem we've had with the X5 since we got it; the temperature control on the HVAC didn't seem to work. Finally got around to cracking open the panel above the pedals & found that the hose wasn't connected to the cabin air temp sensor. If I'd known it was that easy...
