Reached 118,000 miles today as I shut it off at the lot. I don't know but it's satisfying feeling when it's a nice even number lol

After 5 freaking months of death wobble. I figured out I was missing hubcentric rings. The aluminum rings we're terrible
I got plastic and the x5 finally runs smoother than ever.

Yikes on the rings. Wonder why you say terrible about the aluminum. I didn't have any problems with my wife's when I put E70 wheels on her E53.

I maybe recall having to use a wire where to clean rust off the hub before installing but that wasn't a big issue. They were a very precise fit.

I have e70 wheels on mine as well. The rings would been right in my hand and they're very easy to chip on the hub. I ordered them from Amazon since they were the best seller. I guess looks can be deceiving. Maybe it's just the set I got?

Sounds like not hardened. They are very thin they would be easy to compress into an oval but once on the hub they should do their job. That said they are aluminum and I expect they will fuse to the hub which will make them fun to remove if I go back to e53 wheels or put on the spare

Gave her a complete detailing prior to getting getting new tires installed and a well deserved alignment to resolve the front tire scrubbing. Look Mom, new shoes!
