Starting 6mo full service.

Oil/filter change (Liqui Moly)+ Certech

Air (engine/cabin) filters

Transmission fluid/filter

Fix leaking washer bottle

Parking & regular brake replacement

Brake fluid flush

Coolant flush

A/C check

4 wheel alignment

Removal/Replacement of wheel weights after full scrubbing

2nd attempt at passenger seat back motor replacement (SoB!)

I have almost 2 weeks off to do everything and apparently drive to Dubai with the family...

Stripped the pealing black paint from my exhaust tips and repainted. I don't think I prepped properly last time. This time I did for sure. Completely stripped the old paint, wire brushed, sanded and scotch brited everything. Applied high temp primer (2000 degree). Applied high temp flat black. Final coats were gloss black BBQ paint. Hopefully it will hold up this time.

Finished my head light restoration as well. That's been a three week project. First sanded and buffed everything out, shot them with 2K gloss and then gave the clear a sanding with 800 grit to remove the orange peal. Followed by 1000 and 3000 then buffing with compounds and polishes. Took a while but they're looking like new and the 2K should keep them looking that way for quite some time.

Go here to the 26:00 minute mark. See the front O2 sensors graph up and down. The rear o2 sensors have more steady voltage reading.
The rear sensor is bank 1 or 2?

I noticed the delta on bank 2 vs bank 1 and thought maybe that was causing the SES, but fuggifino.

It's not ALL a necessity, but I got the wife mad ( ) with getting my son to do the mom, mom, mommy, ma routine from Family Guy to her pretty consistently for the past week.....

So hot pavement and out of sight seems a safer choice.... 🫠

Bank 1 Sensor 1 = Cylinders 1-3 + exhaust header O2 sensor
Bank 2 Sensor 1 = Cylinders 4-6 + exhaust header O2 sensor

Bank 1 Sensor 2 = Post catalyst O2 sensor
Bank 2 Sensor 2 = Post catalyst O2 sensor

Clear as mud? :

If post cat sensor tracks with pre cat, worn cat will trigger MIL.

You can get a couple more years out of the cat with a "defouler".

This vehicle is ready for emissions testing ✅✅✅✅

Just need the bitch fuel trim code to stay away until Tuesday.

I really don't think anything's wrong. My current theory is the DME software is from 2005 and is for fuel with a lot less ethanol, and when it's cold it's out of range. Since it's been warmer, no change, the light has been off. It's ran perfect since fixing the smoke test issues back in February.
,
I ordered a set of all seasons for the stock 17" wheels. I don't think I'm going to run the style 87s I picked up last summer. They are really big and I think will eat the clutch up in a couple days. I don't think they're a good idea with the clutch and NA inline 6. I'm probably going to sell those and will look for some 18s or 19s for the summer. If anyone is interested in a set of 87s and/or Michelin pilot sport 4S for them the right size, not mounted DM me. Located in SW PA.

I tried 87's on my 3.0 with auto trans and they were fine. I quit running them because they tramline bad and it was very annoying.
