Leo,

The standard kit will work just fine, you only need a new docking cable to support the current charging requirement. Otherwise, we do have SILVERLINE PRO kits available if needed.

Only 3 wires are used in the 6-pin connector, the 3-pin (ibus/Power/Ground) will communicate via various locations throughout the vehicle.

1 selects title/song, 2 selects playlist, 3 selects artist. Use the X5 radio/Nav control keys. You should get teh user's manual or teh quick guide as it has a few of the features outlined.

PLEASE HELP.

I have a 2006 BMW X5. Here are my options:
1) No navigation
2) Business CD
3) No CD Changer
4) Satellite radio
5) BMW Assist with bluetooth enabled.
6) DSP

I am willing to disconnect my satellite radio, since I do not use it (nor a subscriber).

Is it true that Dice Silverline Pro will not work for me since I have BMW Assist?
I installed Dice today and it seems to work, but I have no audio.

Please tell me I didn't waste my entire afternoon installing, just to find out that Dice will not work in my car?

Your best bet is to give Dice a call as they would have the best experience with what the silverlinePro will work with and if there is a trick you need to perform to get the audio working. Good Luck.

@RichardP1: Yes I have DSP - sorry forgot to mention that [but I have since added it to my original post]

Any ideas? Am I screwed?

Thanks again in advance!

I do not have DSP. However, when I researched the DICE initially, the DSP was an option that DICE supported. Please confirm with Dice.. they should be able to assist you.

It's likley you will need an A/D converter as most DSP systems use a direct digital input to the DSP amp for CD Changer audio.
