I know answers should be somewhere here but i tried to search for them already for 4-5 hours.
Open the .cue file in ultraiso and then drag the navboot file out of the v2/rr/101 dir, and open with navtweak.

Put the navtweak .exe in the bin dir (or the gtk dir).

I have the same problem. Using gtk2-runtime-2.16.6-2009-12-01-ash.exe and the navtweak.exe is in bin directory. Please tell me any solution.

The problem can be any number of things.

What I've found is that the GTK must be correct, on xp try the latest version of the gtk libs.

XP: latest GTK.
Vista:??? don't know never used it.
Win7: I have to run 2 versions for navtweak and POison (2.16.6 for NT, and 2.14.7 for poison, no other combo works).

Also, navtweak.exe (2.7), has a bug where if you do to many changes to the rombitmaps, it will crash on exit, even with the correct gtk loaded.

I've e-mailed nomad but as yet received no reply.

Thank You ccfj1 for the answer. The problem is that I used navtweak2.7 for a month in Win7 and WinXP without any problems, but now it crashes. It crashes even if I only open navboot file and then try to save it without any changes. I don't know what to do to work with my custom navi project. Until now I managed to change the sky, splash screen and put cyrillic alphabet in Fonts and want to try translate Lng_Detsch.txt in my language, but with this bug I don't know how to do that.

hmm, I know its not a fix, but use 2.6, its a bit more stable.

Or send me the mods and I'll make the navboot for you.
