Ahh didnt think about the fact the audio was probably mono!! That intravee II thing seems to get the most mentions on the internet and you seem to have it, what do you reckon? Easy to install? Sound quality ok? Is the dock discrete (e.g. in the glovebox)

I'm sure i'll have plenty of questions, but judging by your record on here i'm also sure that you'll never be wrong or mistaken ;-)

i have a problem with "alert on/off" function with my modded disc. if "OFF" it silences radio/cd when nearing a camera and the messages on tacho are italian (i think its italian, nav languages are GB, DE, RUS). i've tried to turn up/down the nav volume but it still cuts the sound. does your modded disc do it also?

You need to change the attenuation of the background audio (to nav instruction), in the set menu set the "volume" to max, this way you don't get the dipp in sound.

For information, THIS IS NOT THE VOLUME OF THE NAV VOICE.

To set the nav voice volume use the TP option (from the INFO button).

The modded disc are region dependent mate, so you would need one made the the languages you have set.

So you will need a custom OS for you nav (with your set languages).

Find out what the real languages are set to (load an OEM OS if need be and then work from there. if necessary use nav coder to change the set languages.
