I own VZ stock and it has been all good (20% +/- price appreciation plus a dividend over 3%) Given the recent demand for the I Phone it should continue.

Can't wait to see the demand for the iPhone5 and iPad2 when they launch. :wow:

Verizon on Friday declared that presales of the iPhone 4 exceeded any other launch in the company's history in just the first two hours, though the carrier declined to provide actual sales figures.

Sold my old 3G for around $300 if I recall and I am selling my mint 3GS for $300 today.
Just enough to cover the new Big Red Version..

Generally afaik, it's the guys with Tmobile or guys who refurbs/retweks and sells these things overseas..

Granted the VZW probably won't command a resale like the GSM but sofar, for the last 2 Ipone upgrades, I've never spent more than $50 out of pocket, after selling the old one

I have always sold mine to Europe... I sold my 3G S for $500 after buying the new 4.

I jailbroke and unlocked my 3G to use in France and that worked great. I'm studying in Germany in the fall, but I think this time I'm going to pick up a factory unlocked one in Canada before I leave. They are $650 but I'll sell it over there before I leave for a profit.

The latest that I've seen on this is that one can now get a refurbished iPhone 3GS from AT&T for just 1 cent + free shipping. That's a good deal for someone that doesn't need an iPhone 4.
