so apparently the shipments came in today. My mom texted me saying she got hers, but is scared to open and use it. This will be fun training her on it. ( i have the AT&T iPhone)

I was thinking the same thing but all the rumors are just frustrating me. How much different is it going to be? When is it going to come out? Supposedly it'll be in July but we'll see.

Well.. Verizon has been doing "World" phones with integrated SIM's for years. That way, they can nail you for $1.89 per minute and you really can't unlock it.

my verizon iphone is activated and working. I am a life long verizon customer and switched to the iphone from my blackberry. I've only been up for less than 24 hours and offer this as my initial thought. The screen/display is unreal. Looking at the web or pics is SO much better on the iphone over the BB. For casual phone users who often use their phone to exchange pictures with family members the display alone might be reason enough to make the move. Very happy so far.

Wait till you see how fast (and accurate) your typing can be on the iPhone. I used a BB for years and thought that was the fastest data entry for me. I far prefer "touching" on the iPhone now. The BB gets used very little for work emails now -- only gets used as a work phone.
