If an iPhone came to Sprint I would have to get a couple. Apple is a smart company. They are in the business of making and selling products and making billions. They would make more money selling to more carriers. It can and has been done too. Canada has 5 different carriers that sell iPhones. The only question is whether other carriers can afford it. For Sprint, the other issue is its network technology and whether Apple can and will make a WiMax version for Sprint.

The big winner here are not the consumers. It's Apple.

I hope that AT&T and Verizon don't make their advertizing campaigns too vitriolic but there's obviously a lot of money on the line here. The big winner is Apple (once again...).

The funny part is watching people anxiously awaiting a phone that I've had for months. As soon as they get it, I'll be looking forward to IPhone 5 ! For those Verizon fans, my company provides me with a Verizon phone. In San Diego, both of these companies have their respective dead zones. The Club I play golf at only gets ATT, so that's all that matters to me !
