Its been so quiet that I thought I bring this tread back.

The English are pulling out troops, guess they know something we don't?

The Brits had some 40,000+ soldiers in 2003 since then they have got it down to around 7,000 in Basra....now they will get it down to around 5,000. If anything, they have done what they said they would do (get in and leave).

Too bad Bush doesn't have a son that would have to be deployed to Baghdad...bet we wouldn't hear about troop increases then.

I have heard a different person every day say "as soon as the US leaves, Iraq will be taken down." So my only question is, why don't we sit down an chat with Iran since they will be the ones taking over Iraq.....

I think you are making the case for the US staying, we don't want it taken over by anyone else.
