Hi I've PM'd you also

I actually got under the car and grabbed the serial number from the box so I could be sure I had the right part number and rang my local ZF supplier.

While they wouldn't sell me the part, they gave me the correct ZF part number which I then ordered online through an Australian parts supplier (Clickable).

Cheers

Yeah... not sure if it was a bus that passes and it was deliberate (a few other cars are missing mirrors) or an accident....

Still... a trip to the wreckers and transfer of some wiring/cutting and mounting of LED (replacement had no external lights) and all sorted..

Hopefully now the biggest thing on my plate with it for a while is a wash and clean

Installed Sony 6.5's in the front and rear doors. Waiting on the Rest of the speakers for the mid and tweeters.

The procedure is so simple. You simply break the seal between the speaker in the pod and simply pop the speaker out. These things dropped right in there and I seated it with a little bit of silicone. Everything is soldered and it sounds amazing with my xtrons unit https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8c3e29f3b5.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...744d013b07.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...dc3ce60d33.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...94898720f9.jpg

I got these put on Friday. Drove them all the way to Houston... this is what an E70 looks like with 4 20" wheels and tires + 2 replacement rear 325/35/20 tires in the boot. Felt like I was in a Baja chase vehicle. :D But they are all on and should be good for another 20,000 miles in the tire department. I'll probably replace all 4 tires on the next change. $$$ I priced these out and was just about to pay $1118 for 2 tires when some 8/32nd used tires popped up on Ebay. Got the 2 for $390 after a best offer being accepted and some Ebay bucks I had to use.

Is the e53 section the most active section on this forum? It sure seems like it compared to the e70.

Why is there no e53 on the homepage banner then?! LOL

Changed out the plasti dipped grill which was broken and rattling for the chrome/blck just to see.

I kinda like it.

It's not bad. I prefer the plasti dipped one though. Nice looking truck whichever you choose.

Oh, and yes e53 ours definitely the most active section.

Looks great. That little pop of bling is just what the doctor ordered.

Finally got the front windshield replaced after the chip last December rolling up the I95 from Daytona. Kept trying to get a Pilkington replacement but gave up waiting and went with Sekurit Saint Gobain glass. They are also OE and used this brand in my E46 and have been very happy.

$200.66 glass
$29.54 Genuine BMW front seal
$45 adhesive
$75 labor

All in just around $350. Amazing how you don't realize how pitted a 15 year old windshield really is...
