The BavAuto coils are $350, the NGK R plugs were $65 (with a 20% off for buying a $2 NAPA bucket to drop them in).

Big difference, vibration free, quiet idle (feels like the engine is off), instant throttle response at all loads/RPMs/speeds. Transformed the drivability of the X.

The Bosch Plat IR Fusion 4 plugs that came out after 100k miles service looked great, all 8 plugs showed 4 clear spark paths across the insulators, NAPA didn't carry them, so I went with the similar NGK R plugs this time.

Did the VANOS seals replacement.

Very worthy upgrade to the X5. I love it on my 4.6is

FYI-Dinan didn't state the results with just the cold air system added to the 4.6. With the throttle body and 3A software they stated horsepower gain of 14 and torque gain of 11, both @ 6500 rpms.

Yes its all good. I had the Dinan software added once I installed the Dinan throttle body. Its very pleasing and moves the X well!!!
