Interesting. Not my style but appreciate the uniqueness. What size tires are those?

At least one of mine or the reservoir is leaking, but it looks like a lot of work to get to the pumps. Did you have to loosen the fender (and running boards) to gain access?

There are some good write ups on here on how to do it. Also a few videos on YouTube on how to remove the fender trim. I used the plastic rivet kit from Harbor Freight, and got my pump and two additional filter grommets from FCPEuro. The pump I bought was the VDO one.
It’s not a hard job. Just take your time and follow the instructions on here and other forums. I’m on my phone, so I can’t get you the direct links.

I addressed two small issues yesterday.

1- The little interior light behind the second row passenger's feet has NEVER stayed put in the carpet trim. The hole in the carpet it should clip into was cut too large for the housing to securely mount to it. I cut a rectangular piece of sturdy plastic from a detergent container that was larger than the hole, then I cut out a rectangle inside that matching the size of the light housing. I used an exacto knife to cut a slot in the edge of the carpet hole, between the carpet and the foam backing. I worked the plastic into this slot so it effectively reduced the size of the hole in the carpet and then clicked the light housing into that hole in the plastic.
This took a little thinking but got it done.

2- I found a little black tab with silver trim on the floor by the back seat and couldn't figure out where it had come from so I put it aside assuming I would figure it out at some point. Well, I did, turns out my younger son had kicked the air vent on the back side of the center console and the control tab had popped off the vent vanes. Now, this is not just a tab that pops back on, there is a second piece, a small receiving connector that it clips onto that guides the inner vanes, but that goes inside the vanes between the outer horizontal vanes, and the inner vertical vanes. It was evident I had to hold it from the back side to push the tab onto it until it clicked on. But my fingers could not get between the vanes to get any pressure on the back side! Grrr...
I didn't see any way to remove the vent to be able to get at the back side of it, and I had read horror stories about trying to remove the entire center console.
I tried using a dental pick with a hook to get behind it, but ended up creating a little tool with a small vise grips locked onto a small L-shaped allen wrench to get behind the receiver piece and pull it against the tab as I pushed the tab on from the front. This one had me cursing. I even yelled at the boys who had come into the garage and starting yelling and banging stuff around, cuz I needed quiet so I could concentrate.
What a Pain in the ass!!

Friday I replaced the A/C belt tensioner. Boy, that was a PITA for that lower bolt installation. Then on the way to go visit family early on Saturday morning (0400) my wife and I broke down 63 miles from home. Turns out alternator basically died and we ran the battery down to nothing. All the dash lights came on and one warning after another. Thankfully had AAA Premier so flatbed tow all the way home didn't cost me a dime.

Spend two hours and twenty minutes yesterday morning replacing the alternator. Was lucky that the only place in Nor-Cal that had a replacement alternator in stock was nearby was open Saturday morning for me to order and them to receive by 1500. Every parts house I called told me they could have one by Tuesday but this place said they had one in their warehouse and could have it for me Saturday afternoon.

After I picked it up, didn't feel like starting and have it get dark out on me so I started Sunday morning. Had read all the stories that were saying how much of a PITA the 4.8 alternator was to replace and some even mentioned taking all day. But in all honesty, I was quite pleased how well it went. One step at a time and boom, it was done.

My pully squeak is still there when cold, so it's either my primary tensioner or idler pully.

One odd thing is now I'm getting an error for an oil level sensor malfunction. Haven't scanned with Carly yet. But it is strange timing. Get airbags replaced this past Wednesday/Thursday, replace A/C tensioner Friday, and replace alternator on Sunday. Just stinking strange!

I had the resistors put on my LED fog lights and had to repair the windshield washer hose. Just needed a new clamp. All is well and no more flashing when I start her up.

Recently got ISTA going, which facilitated changing my transfer case oil, as I had the stores code for oil condition.

Ended up changing the engine oil and power steering/hydraulic fluid as well.

Went to a DIY garage where you can rent lift. Very nice! Anyway, I changed out my:

-Front and Rear diff with Lucas Synthetic 75w-90. The original fluid was like new, nice and clean.

-Transfer case with RAVENOL J1C1125 Transfer Case Fluid TF-0870. I got it from Amazon. The old fluid was dark...put the new in, takes at just about whole liter. No problems thus far.

-Diesel Filter, with a Mahle filter. Easy job.

-Transmission filter...Ugh, this was a no go! I was aware of the rear four pan bolts and clearance issues. I jacked up the transfer case, and still couldn't get enough of a decent access to try and remove. So I just drained and refilled with 20 oz of Lucas Transmission fluid conditioner and Mercon SP. Followed the instructions on how to make sure its the correct level.

I live about 30 miles from this place, so with a mix of highway, and stop and go traffic. No issues to report.
