considering the X feels so slow when your obeying the speed limit, i constantly use cruise control to avoid speeding...but i deff take advantage of being the first one at a red light

My X5 today

My X5 is having transmission fluid & transfer case fluid changed the diff has been done last week.
The K-Mac front & rear race camber kits were fitted over the past 2 days (big job) as soon as I drove it it felt different,
the steering had a more solid feel not light & floaty like before
it corners completley different, very confident to push it a bit harder now
a V8 Aristo tried me on the way home, silly boy...
it was wet windy & uphill after the second corner I could no longer see him!
the car felt like it was on rails, amazing.
Ok now for brakes (DBE 4000 & RED STFF pads) & wheel bearings to be safe
then saving for supercharger!!!

Hurricane modding...

Installed new wiper inserts as well as applied AmetVi (a glass coating from Japan that makes water bead and roll right off when moving).

Then I got the itch and finally removed the roof rails. Plugged it up but didn't use silicone sealant; took the clear vinyl I have and covered up the plugs real well so it is also watertight. Completely reversible with no mess when removing too!

My X5

Now my headlights are too high...
Luckily I had the front lowered 40mm as the front camber kit added 20mm
No I have to plug in & raise the rear to match (pneumatic rear)...

I motherf**##ed mine! It sat since before Irene hit until today. Radio dead, battery box full of water. The wind must have pushed water past the sunroof.

Smile

Added 1/2 quart of engine oil, topped off brake fluid with Motul Dot 4, touched up a few spots with touch up paint.
