Trans went kablooey at 97K mi or so, but that worked out ok as a shade-tree rework. Otherwise in maybe 4 years, I've spent $60 on a front axle assy, about $170 to replace the door lock mechanism on a back door, $70 for a height sensor, ummm......I'm thinking........

I repaired a couple of the HVAC buttons when the little tabs broke off. I dunno if that counts since it was maybe .02 worth of materials used...........brakes don't count as a repair. Hell, even Toyotas need them every now and then........

Santib, you have the highest mileage 4.6 that I know of. There was a silver one for sale in AZ with 190k. What other big items have been done on the truck? Trans, chain guides, etc? Good to know there are high mileage 4.6is' out there. I plan to take mine to 200k.

epdarks, I had the
Trans
Water Pump
Ac compressor
Valve Cover Gaskets
Valley Pan gasket

all done on the X before the cpo ran out at 100k
I have done the radiator and hoses at 150k. The front suspention bushings at 160k and Oil changes every 6k.
Diffs every 50k with redline.
I have done front brakes twice and rears once.
Alternator at around 145k
I do all the work myself.(Best way to save$$)

Im sure it will need some TLC soon but Im always checking it.
