A case is just like a house... it has to have a good foundation or there's no hope that everything will stay plum and true by the time you put a roof on. Conversely having a super strong foundation and construction of walls won't mean shit if you get a roof put on that is poorly constructed, since wind and rain will destroy even the good work below.

The Oxford English Dictionary says it's derogatory and informal not that it's "racist" kind of like using the term asshole (I mean everyone has an anus so.... )

I just have to ask which terms are acceptable, can you provide a list and time of day they can be used?

I personally would never make fun of someone who I know has a mental disorder, but until I know for sure then I just assume most people are either dumbasses or retarded.

It's an ethnic slur so it's unacceptable anytime, but only racist people like to use ethnic slur because they think they are better than anyone else.
