Nothing. They look great. Now find me 4.8is badges and DINAN badges that match the finish. :D

I saw you guys talking about the matte black badges and ordered a set from the link Mouse provided. I didn't know BMW ever offered them as a matte black option. Took a few minutes today and removed the 15 year old chrome ones, cleaned up the old adhesive and mounted the new matte black Genuine BMW ones. Viola! You just have to love the $15 mods... Thanks guys!

Reset adaptations: I was having hell of a time with O2 related errors until I figured to reset adaptations.

Well, the X5 is finally back on the road after 3 months of sitting due to a registration issue that left me without a title and plates. I bought an Acura TL to replace it, but I like the X5 too much to get rid of it. So, today started with a new battery and a trip to the junkyard. Pretty fruitless trip, but I did find this 2004 X5 that was green on green! I'll try to post a pic...

Anyway, the interior is all retrofitted with LEDs now, I fixed a bad terminal on the tail light causing it to not function, replaced the blower resistor which fixed the blower motor (thank God!), and I refitted the rear wiper/motor so it's not sagging. And before all that, a mechanic friend offered to buy it out of the blue haha. Just need to figure out why the radio will pick up zero stations, nor play cds, but the tape adapter works flawlessly???Otherwise the future is looking bright for this Topaz 5spd!Attachment 75412

Why no pics of green on green!?

Click on the pic. That's as big as it would allow haha. It's a weird, very light green interior. But it is definitely green bc the label on the back of the door panel says "green green"

Looks good Overboost. And I agree. The $15 mods are sometimes the best... wish there were more of them for the e53.
