HPFP is not the issue. That was checked at the very first visit to the dealer.
Engineer from design team working on my vehicle along with M division guys in Germany, I assume via computer, to decipher error codes. Word from dealer today was "to see what direction to head in next". My response, "the direction of a new vehicle". I am fed up. Period. Just disgusting for such an expensive machine. I am sorry to hear of all the issues you are having with your M. If you don't mind me asking, what dealer is doing the repair work on your truck, BMW Store? I hope things work out for you. Another X5M or a 5 or 7 series if not? X

Had the fault for nearly 4 weeks now and the car is only 6 weeks old. What message do you see on the idrive and can you get the OBD fault codes from the dealer. Might not help but someone in the forums may be able to offer some tech advice. On mine they are now changing the vanos unit on the end of the nearside inlet camshaft, as in their words, "its the only thing that could be wrong". I pointed out a multitude of other things that could cause it including software, ecu etc but they are only interested in their *assumption*. I would not wish the experience of a new BMW on my worst enemy! |
