Crowz,

You mention you can use the reverse camera while not in reverse, how do you toggle the camera view without putting car in reverse?

I have an app that lets me view the camera and there were a few different methods it called it up from with what was included with the radio.

The dvr app included would show it too I think.

Its cooooold right now and I'm hiding in the house. When I go somewhere next I will try to remember to see what all shows it.

Yeah, chilly down here in Dunedin - I just lit the fire! Sad for January... Wil be working inside today for sure!
Thanks! Ok So car is in pieces again. Did a step by step.
-Removed from LHD trunk panel routing and over seat. No difference
-Removed from rear seat to b piller, no difference
-Removed from from ducting past b piller up to fuse box! no whizz!!

Conclusion: Radiated emissions of running down LHD definitely cause of interference. Now to find a new way to run it. I didn't want to pull apart the RHD but I guess that is probably the best option!

Thanks.

After 10 days of single digit temps I can attest the Seicane Head unit operates perfectly down to 1 degree Fahrenheit. Thankfully it hasn’t gotten colder so I can’t say beyond that.

Well I can confirm that when the temps are -25* Celcius (-13* F) the Seicane headunit will NOT function!

The other morning Hell had frozen over, and I could not get any sound out of the unit. But once the interior temps were normalized, it started working fine again.

I haven't looked at the specs they list but I bet we all are pushing them well outside the operating temp range. Especially the -13F one

That's where car electronics are impressive, the head unit might be dead at those temps but the car starts and runs...
