Thanks. I figured they worked but hadn't seen any specific mention of it. I see there is a "button mapping" screen shot on the Seicane web site, indicating that it's possible to map steering wheel button to various functions in the head unit and figured that would cover most needs.

Happy New Year, folks!

Now for my next addon

This is what I am ordering to install next.

VOXX Electronics : OEI Integrated Solutions : PRODUCTS : SXVCT1

Now I just need to figure out where to put it. The best spot is of course the ashtray. Its perfect except for one big problem.

I use the astray aka smoke. So anyone have any other ideas where to mount it?

If X5's had a sunglass holder in the overhead area that would be great but we don't.

If I was a bunch younger and was all out on installs with no care of value of the vehicle I'd counter sink it in the dash. Not happening.

Inside the top power of the center console is looking like the best place right now. Impossible to safely see while driving though. Easy enough to flip the lid up but turning ones head that much to read the screen and choose things is beyond unsafe though.

Suggestions?

This one says it can't ship to USA but you could shoot them a message and ask why. At least scour fleaBay UK and find a seller that will...

I wonder if it would fit. It looks longer than the one I have now.

It’s 30x20 cm.
That would be about 11.8x7.8 inches.
