And yes, all the solid browns in BMW's are ground wires. Any of them will do.

Here is the relay guidance that I followed to wire my rear camera

https://xoutpost.com/1100757-post199.html

The sporadic voltage coming off the positive light bulb feed still gives the relay some chatter at times.

Another suggestion was to use the clean PDC voltage trigger wire in the harness near the battery but I have forgotten how to define where that wire is located. A search of Xoutpost should reveal that method.

I connected mine to the accessory wire from the Seicane. So if the radio is on the backup camera is on. This allows me to look thru it anytime I want besides just when in reverse.

Also when I setup the dvr eventually the camera will be powered up anytime I am driving catching all the action

^That's not a bad idea.

Does the unit switch for you automatically though when you put it in reverse and then to drive? I used to have mine use the PDC trigger as mentioned above and it was nice. But I am also going to be installing front DVR and if I could tie the rear into that while still having it auto switch with REVERSE being selected I'd love to do it that way also.

Yep it goes to the reverse camera when I shift to reverse and back to the radio stuff when I come out of reverse.

It even has an option in the setup screen to go to a front camera automatically when you leave reverse if desired.

I didn't run any wires for reverse sensing so the stereo is getting this from the bus I guess to know when I go to reverse.

Which one is the 'accessory wire' ? is it the red wire coming out of the yellow RCA connector? my camera works without connecting this red wire to anything.

Also Crowz, i think I have got the ibus resler working after soldering/tapping etc, however the font is really small on the ibus app? Any way to increase the font size?

My camera works without a relay.

Which radio? The screen resolution effects the font size. Its large on mine but someone else had a radio that was a good bit smaller.

The radio's accessory wire was labeled ant and amp best I remember. Both were blue.

Maybe my use of LED bulbs is causing the anomaly

I could get nothing from my camera with the engine running without the relay. Engine off, everything was fantastic with the camera.
